KL was established in 1857 by an individual from the Selangor regal family, Raja Abdullah, who was the agent of the Yang Tuan who regulated Klang. Together with Raja Jumaat of Lukut and 87 Chinese workers, he came to investigate the locale in scan for tin metal. Subsequent to going up the Klang River to achieve its intersection with the Gombak River, they advanced through profound wilderness and discovered tin close Ampang. That minute denoted the start of KL's improvement. Throughout the years it developed from a tin digger's camp into a business focus that could draw in vast quantities of speculators from around different spots.
